About Us
The Women of Substance is a ministry outreach of Brooks of Life Ministries which is established to stir women into spiritual attention and help them to experience God’s best for their lives. Like the parent ministry, nationally and inter-denomination with the vision to raise women to be over-comers in every area of their lives both spiritual, mentally and physically. No one is born without a talent/ability to achieve maximum potential. Unfortunately, not everyone realizes her true and full potential. With the annual Women of Substance conferences, workshops and seminars you will amazingly discover that God has a strong desire for us to flourish with his abundance, to be full of his love and to be fearless in the face of adversity. You will discover in the Bible that there are many women of substance and today’s women can look at them as their role models. With God at the centre of our lives, we can lead lives of excellence that will enable us to make a positive impact on our families, our church our community and the entire world. This is our vision for every woman who comes in contact with the Women of Substance. When Women of Substance take their proper place, the results will be restoration and revival will be great. Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the lord has risen upon you Isaiah 61 verse 1. A woman of substance is a woman of power, a woman of positive influence and a woman of meaningful purpose. To be branded a woman of substance is one of the greatest compliments one can give a woman that wants to be an “influential female” Here are four qualities a girl/woman should posses in order to become a “Woman of Substance”
Embrace your individuality and be happy the way you are
The pressure put on women in today’s society is immense and woman will be admired, any female out there who doesn’t let the high demands and expectations get them down. In my experience, l have learned that we, as women, we should not let the likes of “preferred” images or “criticism” affect us and it has become such a relief than be a miss “perfect” I believe that being yourself and feeling happy as yourself just the way you are signifies the word “BEAUTY”
As a woman use your voice.
We were all blessed with voice to use them so use them! Speak out and don’t hold back. I am relatively a quiet person and a woman of not many words. However, on the other hand, when it comes to standing up for what l believe in or voicing my opinions on things, l never fail to make use of my voice. You should not hold back, speak out your views. Make use of what God has given you and say what you think, say what you believe in and argue against what you don’t. This makes you unique.
As a Woman find your dream in life and pursue it.
Follow your heart your heart, never give, and you can do anything you desire. We all have ability to do whatever it is we want to do and fulfil any dream we want in life. We just have to go and do it. When you find your passion in life, it creates a meaning in your life and gives you a purpose in the world. It generates happiness and fulfilment.
